Adeopapposaurus
Adeopapposaurus was a long-necked plant-eater that lived in what is now Argentina during the Early Jurassic. It walked on two legs and used its long neck to reach leaves high up in trees. Its name means 'far eating lizard' because of that super long neck!1

Adeopapposaurus had a horny beak on the tips of its upper and lower jaws, like a turtle's beak, to help it eat tough plants.12
It had 11 very long neck bones (cervical vertebrae) that made its neck extra stretchy for reaching high branches.2
Scientists first thought Adeopapposaurus fossils were from a different dinosaur called Massospondylus, but later realized it was a new genus.1
